Open Source developers are invited to contribute their software developing skills for the benefit of other Knowledge Seekers working on extending the knowledge and knowledge sharing. The purpose of this page is to host:

  • A list of already developed Open Source software tools, as contributed by the Knowledge Seekers.
  • A wish-list of useful software tools that the Knowledge Seekers are in need of. This can be in the context of workshop transcriptions or in the context of the new research-oriented private classes or any other. If you are a Knowledge Seeker and you identity a software tool that would ease your work, please contact uc.polish@theuniversalcouncil.org with your suggestion. Please include a brief description of what this software ought to do and how it would assist you in your work.

SearchSRTFiles This pogram searches through all the SRT files in the selected directory for a given phrase. Do you spend hours looking for a particular topic, scanning through tens of video files? This tool will assist you in searching for a particular topic as taught in the teachings. Prerequisites: a directory/folder full of SRT files. Works with any language and runs on any operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux) and is written in Java 8. Beta Version available User Manual
MergeShortSRTLines This software loads the selected SRT file and automatically merges short SRT lines to be of the maximum specified duration. Saves you manually merging hundreds of lines.
